Perpustakaan Tua

Aku masih tediam melihat rak-rak buku yang terpampang megah di hadapanku. Kekaguman ini muncul kembali. Menjalar sampai ke saraf-saraf otakku. Rak-rak besar yang sudah berumur hampir setengah abad masih bisa menampung ribuan buku.

Aku teringat saat pertama kali ke tempat ini, Ayah memberitahuku bahwa umur bangunan ini sudah menyaingi umur SMA ini. Saat itupun aku berdecak dengan sangat kagumnya. Aku memang penggemar buku sejati. Dari kecil sampai sekarang,  kegemaran membaca masih dan semakin melekat dalam hidupku. Bahkan dahulu, ketika aku tidak sesibuk saat ini, aku akan melahap buku apa saja yang ada di rumah. Bahkan perpustakaan kacil milik Eyang Kakungku sudah berhasil aku obrak-abrik.

Perpustakaan pertama yang membuatku jatuh cinta adalah perpustakaan yang terletak di sekolah tempat Ayah dan Ibuku mengajar. Sebuah SMA yang sudah kujadikan rumah kedua sejak saat itu. Entah kenapa, setiap aku memasuki ruangan penuh buku ini, ada perasaan menggelitik yang muncul. Ruangan ini sudah tidak ‘muda’ lagi, dan juga tidak terlalu besar, dengan jejeran buku-buku yang indah, dengan rak buku yang mengelilingi tempat baca . Terlihat seperti perpustakaan pada umumnya, memang.  Namun Anehnya, itulah yang membuat aku jatuh cinta sampai saat ini.

Sejak saat itulah, aku mulai menyambangi tempat yang aku sering sebut surga. Aku sering meminjam buku di sini. Ya, tentunya dengan sedikit diskon hari. Hehe. Baik itu buku pelajaran ataupun novel.  Aku sangat ingat, buku pertama yang aku pinjam adalah legenda Hercules.

Aku mulai terobsesi dengan tempat ini. Setiap ada kesempatan, aku pasti merengek kepada kedua orang tuaku, agar aku bisa ‘nebeng’ ke sekolah mereka mengajar, hanya untuk menikmati buku-buku di perpustakaan tuanya.

Jujur, aku mencintai tempat ini, bahkan sampai dibawa mimpi. Gilanya, aku sampai membuat keputusan bahwa aku akan melanjutkan pendidikanku di SMA ini, lagi-lagi dengan tujuan agar aku bisa menghabiskan waktu di surgaku ini. Obsesiku saat itu hanya satu, bisa menyentuh dan membaca semua buku yang ada di sana. Bahkan aku berhayal aku bisa menggantikan sang petugas perpus saat itu (hehe..maaf ya ).

Namun semua kandas ketika garis tanganku membawaku pada jalan lain. Sore itu, aku menerima telefon dari sekolah tempatku melamar beasiswa. Pemberithuannya adalah aku diterima secara mutlak di sana, dengan beasiswa penuh selama 3 tahun. Hatiku terlonjak..namun, beberapa saat kemudian hatiku mencelos lagi, ketika  aku menyadaribaha aku tak akan bisa mengunjungi  perpustakaan tercintaku… aku bingung, tak bisa berfikir dengan jernih. Mau tak mau, aku harus mengambil beasiswa ini. Demi masa depanku.

Di hari keberangkatanku, aku meminta kepada kedua orangtuaku, agar aku bisa mengunjungi perpustakaan tuaku untuk terakhir kalinya.

Dengan berlinang air mata, setahun yang lalu aku menginjakkan kakiku di ruangan ini, tepat di mana aku berdiri sekarang. Dengan mata sayu, kembali aku mengagumi jejeran buku yang agak kurang rapi karena sempat dipergunakan siswa saat jam pelajaran pagi tadi. Kini, setiap kali aku liburan, aku tidak akan menyiakan kesempatanku untuk berkunjung ke tempat ini. Meskipun sekarang statusnya tidak mutlak milik hatiku, karena aku tidak secara teratur berkunjung. Namun ini sedikit bisa mengurangi rasa kengenku..entah itu pada masa-masa kecilku, ataupun di saat aku biasanya bergumul dengan lembaran demi lembaran novelet antik…

Ku harap, perpustakaan tua ini, akan selalu menjadi surga di hatiku, dan akan terus berdiri kokoh …selamanya.

Who don’t know the word Facebook ? Facebook is the one of the example of the social networking. Facebook also can be the link to doing some communication in the distance with low price, quick, and we can be more easy to do it. The teenagers are the people that most have good interest to use Facebook.

 Facebook have so many advantages for human, especially for teenagers. Don’t you know, Facebook can be the most easy way to improving their language, especially for English ? As we know, in Facebook, we can add or confirm the requested of friend relationship. So, with that one, the person maybe can get so many friend that live far away from them and maybe from the other country.
